2018 Scholarship Application Step 1 of 3 33% SDABJ offers three scholarships to students interested in journalism. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded will be awarded to high school seniors who are interested in majoring in journalism and/or mass communication at a four-year college or university. Must provide proof of enrollment from a four-year college or university to receive funds for this scholarship A $300 community college scholarship is available for students who are either currently enrolled or looking to attend community college, taking journalism courses, and interested in pursuing a career as a journalist. Must provide proof of enrollment. Finally, the $1,500 Ozzie Roberts scholarship will be awarded to a student currently enrolled in a four-year college or university who is majoring or minoring in journalism and/or mass communication. This student must be interested in pursuing a career as a journalist.
