San Diego Association of Black Journalists

The San Diego Association of Black Journalists (SDABJ) is proud to offer our annual SDABJ Journalism Scholarship Program to assist San Diego area high school and college students who are interested in journalism.

SDABJ offers four scholarships to students interested in journalism. Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to two high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a career as a journalist.

For community college students, a $300 scholarship is available. A $1500 scholarship will be awarded to a college student who shows promise in the field of journalism in honor of San Diego Union-Tribune columnist Ozzie Roberts.
