The San Diego Association of Black Journalists will be hosting its annual “Pro for a Day” workshop
on Saturday Nov. 4th
at KPBS, 5200 Campanile Drive, San Diego, CA 92182
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The workshop will allow SDABJ to help jump-start the careers of future journalists. So far, 40 plus students from high schools and colleges around the area are expected to attend.

Among the confirmed panelists are Dwane Brown, radio show host of KPBS, Janye McClinton, executive producer of KNSD morning newscasts and Jim Trotter, sports writer for The San Diego Union-Tribune.

The event is sponsored by SDABJ, KPBS and the student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
